Asakano-gama, a 300-year-old company, is releasing rice bowls featuring designs of Fukushima Prefecture's famous places, specialties, and tourist attractions. Starting with the Akabeko, a local folk craft of the Aizu region, the bowls are hand-painted with designs of Tsuruga-jyo Castle, Lake Inawashiro and Mount Bandai, Miharukoma, the Soma Nomaoi festival in the Hamadori region, and Iwaki's hula girls.

Clay: Hand-refined ceramic clay from Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture.

Design: Hand-painted using the scraping technique.

Supplementation: All our products are handmade. Therefore, the measurements are approximate and may vary slightly between production lots. Similarly, the color and shape may vary slightly between production lots.
Also, due to the manufacturing process, there is usually some iron leaching or pinholes.
